I took French in high school about 5 years ago and am interested in picking it up again and learning more. I would say that I am a beginner, I do not remember much. I feel that another language will help me travel in my Nursing career. Conversation is the area that I would like to focus in the most. I'm definitely a beginner in the language. I've always wanted to learn Gaelic and I'm planning a vacation to Scotland for June 2006 so I would at least like to have a grasp of the language by then. I work full time and I'm also a full time graduate student so this would be something I would do on the weekends. I would like to do audio and bookwork on my own and have the teacher correct my work, help me with my pronunciation , and basically tell me what I'm doing wrong, so this can be done by phone or voice chat in conjunction with email. I'm currently taking online classes for my Masters degree so I'm very comfortable communicating and completing coursework at a distance.
