I am 24 years old and learning portuguese for personal reasons, I would like to move to Sao Paulo in the near future and continue my career there. I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain and have been living in the US for over 5 years. I would say my proficiency level is beginner although I do understand written portuguese pretty well. I would like to improve in grammar and conversation mainly, but my main goal is to speak and write without having to translate from spanish in my head.

Hello, I am a senior student in secondary school, and I plan to go to Japan for college in the next five to six years. I have been teaching myself Japanese for seven years, but I still feel that I am a beginner. I want to learn this language because I like to draw anime, write stories, read manga, and I am overall interested in the culture. I also am considering teaching English in Japan someday, as well as dealing in foreign communication s.
I feel I need particular improvement in understanding grammar, as well as conversationa l Japanese. I would like to continuously learn Japanese for as long as it takes for me to get a good handle on the language and understanding it.
As for the lessons, I would like them to be interesting. I am not too picky about this because any way I can learn Japanese is good for me since I've been looking for tutors for a long time.
