Well, I have been studying French for about 3 years now, so i guess i would be considered intermediate. I am learning French so I would be able to communicate with my uncle and his family in Paris, France. I am also learning it beacause I think its a beautiful language and I want to be more cultured. I am hvae no experience with Latin, although I speak fluent spanish and have some basic reading/speak ing knowledge of italian; since both are derivitives of Latin, I don't expect my learning curve to be too steep.
I have always been drawn to the classics, and to learn Latin would allow me to read some literature in its original text. I also want the challenge of learning such a historical and beautiful language.
I am willing to dedicate 2-3 lessons a week with a teacher; or one long one.
I looking for a challenging teacher, who also has an affinity to roman and greek classics (I plan on learning greek at some point as well).
