My level would be a Beginner. I know some words and some phrases. example: Tack sa mycket, Tack for maten. though I had to look these up for spelling reasons.
W hy? I live with and plan to marry a girl from Sweden (Malmo) and would like to be able to converse with her family in their langauge. Also, If I am to marry her, there may be the possibilty that I may end up living there some day.
Need improvement in most areas, Grammer and parts of speech. though I know some words it is difficult to form sentences.
I would like to get on a regimen of 2 times a week, for 1-2 hours each session. with homework type learning on top of that.
I would like a teacher that is acclaimated to the southern dialect of Sweden. (if possible, if not, my girlfriend will be here to help)

I would say my proficiency level with the Arabic language would be a beginner, but I am familiar with alot of the words. I was married to a Palestinian for almost three years and picked up on alot of the words. I do not know the structure or gramatical way of speaking the language. I am in school now and for the summer quarter I will only be attending classes 2 days a week, so I could devote 2 days a week as well to learining Arabic. I find this language very unique as well as any other foreign language but since I have experienced Arabic on a personal level I would like to learn more. I do not see this advancing my career goals but learning something new can never hurt you.

I am looking to learn spanish. I took several years in high school and a semester in college. I would place myself at the beginner to possible intermediate level. I have spent 5-7 years learning Spanish before college; I remember a lot of vocabulary and grammar, but my confindence level of speaking it in public is quite low. I am interested in becoming more effective in speaking this language so to be able to market myself in the business world. I am interested in private lessons only; 2-3 times per week.
