My friend and I would like to learn Russian. We have no background in the language. I am planning on adopting a child from Russia, but she just wants to learn because she's interested in the language. We are hoping to become proficient in speaking conversationa l Russian, as well as acquiring basic reading skills. We would like to get two hours of private instruction each week. We are looking for a tutor who has experience teaching beginners and would be able to meet us at a convenient location.

In the past I have studied spanish, but now I need to refreshing my memory. I would like to advance to my college spanish 201 or 202 course, so therefore, I need to start from spanish 101. I am looking for a very competent teacher who know the language well. I even prefer a teacher whose native language is spanish.
