I have had two years of High School Spanish, 1 year of college spanish, and a study abroad experience in Latin America. I am not a beginner but I could use a refresher course. I have been out of the environment for a while and have forgotten some things, but I catch on fast.
I want to learn Spanish because I love to communicate with people; I love languages and cultures. My study abroad experience only reinforced my desire to learn the language. Overall, I need improvement in everything: grammar, conversation, pronunciation , etc. I would like to dedicate no less than an hour per lesson. I prefer lessons in which the primary focus is speaking, but I am open to writing as well. I would like a teacher who is a native of a Spanish speaking country or who comes from a Spanish speaking family.

I am a beginner and my step family is philipino and I feel very sad that I dont know tagalog or could watch movies that much w/out subtitles so it saddens me too much b/c I want to become closer to there family and my step sister who treats me like a real sister and she's the best person in the world to me.
Howeve r much time is necessary I will do it. *^^* I am determined.
I would like to read and speak it correctly and understand it. But I learn slower then other kids because of my disability but I will study day and night and buy lots of books if I have to. I wont give up.
