I am a beginner, but my girlfriend is Polish and I really want to learn Polish so that I can talk to her parents. We went to Poland in July 2007 and my girlfriend had to translate every conversation. I would like to learn the basics of the language first and then business language.
I can dedicate a few hours a week in lessons and more of my own time.
I am searching for a teacher who is patient and encouraging.

I am a female korean teenager. When i was little and before i went to an american school i spoke good korean. But as i attended american schools i gradually lost my Korean language. I want to learn back my language, because even though i am full korean, i onmly know a few words and read/write a few vowels and most of the consonants, i feel unaccepted sometimes in my korean community. I just need to know my alphabet better, some common conversation, and a little pronunciation . I'm willing to give all my time. I have the rest of this summer and willing to learn after school and homework. I want to do whatever it takes to learn back my language. I am patient and want a teacher that is patient also. I have IM. I dont have any money to offer, but I hope you would still consider to teach me. :]

Dear Mam/Sir,
I am looking for a Russian class/instruc tor that teaches beginnig Russian. I am in a Russian class now that I am not getting much out of. I have learned the alphabet and pronunciation , but don't seem to be getting much past that. I am confused, as smy teacher has no structure to the class. We seem to skip around in the book, or totally do something off the subject. I am dissapointed in this class. I am looking for a class or private instructor with structure. I am wanting to learn Russian because my boyfriend is Russian and so are all his friends. They are all willing to help when they can, but I really need to learn conversationa l Russian so I can talk with them about everyday stuff or whatever the subject. They all speak English too, but would rather speak Russian then having to always translate for me. I would like to have instruction twice a week. I work better one-on-one. I feel I get more out of it, but a class setting would be ok too. I know I would like to learn conversatioal Russian, but also work a little on alphabet and reading as well. I may go with my boyfriend to Moscow next summer.
