I want to learn Quaanic Arabic so that I can learn to read the Quran and understand what the meaning of wahat I am reading. I know the alphabet and the vowels but not much else. I am very serious about learning and can spend as much time as the teacher has to teach me, seven days a week and any number of hours she can spend. I want a teacher who has the ability to teach with the correct pronunciation and one who is patient and dedicated.

I have started learning Croatian on my own using Pimsleur DVDs and have begun to learn several words and phrases. I would like to learn to speak Croatian fluently over the next several years. I am going in a long term relationship with a Croatian and we see marriage possibilities in our future. His culture and history is very important to him and I am embolden to learn because of my passion for him and my desire to learn. I will also be traveling to Croatia this summer and want to have a strong foundation from which to build my understanding of the language.
I need to learn grammer, vocabulary and verb usage.
I usually spend about 1/2 a day practicing with the DVDs to learn words. Right now I am finishing my last semester in school and will have the summer off before going on to do my doctorate. While not in school I can afford more time to dedicate to learning the language.
In a teacher I would like to be challenged and pushed to learn. I am a quick study and like to learn. I also want to understand the nuances of the Croatian language that are not in the text books, but words and phrases that are functional to everyday life.

Hello!
I'm hoping you might be able to help me learn Hindi. I started to take a class at DU but my teacher had problems with her visa and had to cancel class. My boyfriend is from Punjab and his parents are coming this summer, plus I'm attending a wedding with them. Soooo I need to learn. Before my teacher left I had just learned the alphabet and how to pronounce the the letters (characters?) Though I still need work. So I need to learn grammar and conversation skills. I'm looking for a teacher that will be able to teach me what I will need to know to communicate clearly and confidently. Also if he could give me more insight into the culture I would really appreciate it. I work 9-5 for my first job and have a part time second job to, I am also taking a web design course but would be willing to make time to learn.
