Proficiency - unsure but a little more than beginner. I have some reading/compr hension abilty.
Re asons - work related reasons; also I'm korean so I feel I should know more than my current level.
Are as - all areas can be improved but I'd prefer emphasis on speaking/comm unication if possible.
Time - once per week would be ok to start. I'd prefer one on one instruction in classroom setting if possible.

I am a 3rd year doctoral student, with a strong drive for learning, and lots of motivation - which I am sure will come in handy considering I am hoping to learn enough French to get me through my visit to Marseille, France. I am leaving in 3 weeks, and would appreciate learning the basics. I am willing to meet at mutually convenient times up to 3 times a week in order to grasp this language on a beginner's level.
