I was a peace Corps Volunteer, who lived in a village near Jaipur, Rajasthan during 1968 to 1970. I learned Hindi while residing in the village. When I completed my tour, I returned to complet my undergraduate degree at Kansa State University. I had the chance to take Hindi courses while at the University. Unfortunately , as the years past, I've had little opportunites to speak Hindi.
I am now retired and desire to live in India for a minimum of a year, preferably in Jaipur and study Hindi. I would spend most of the day studying the language.

My proficiency level is a begginner, the reason why i want to learn korean is because i want to be in the sm entertainment in korean because i am fond of there culture and music. I want to be able to sing and speak korean. I need to improve on actually everything. Example would grammar, culture, and conversation. The time i want to dedicate to learn korean would be maybe about 3 hours or less depending on the teachers advice on teaching. My qualities in my lesson would be learning everything and understanding about everything in korean culture.

Hello,
My name is Ayanna, and I would like to further my understanding of Japanese. I have taken afew semesters of the language at college, so I know the basics. I would like to attain a level of conversation though, as well as learn more kanji. I have a somewhat difficult time with the normal conversationa l speed of Japanese, more so than actually understanding the words, but I would really like to increase my vocaulary as well.
At present, I try to teach myself and adjust my ear to conversation speed with DVDs and music. I think I require a patient teacher, as I am kind of shy. Once I become comfortable though, I try much harder to communicate.
I have Japanese friends, and when I go to Japan again I do not want to take a long time to respond their questions. These are the goals I hope my teacher and I can accomplish, and I promise I will be the best student I can be.
