I am very interested in learning conversationa l spanish. I plan to visit several latin american countries within the next 6 months, starting in July with Colombia. I do have a slight understanding of the language as I was raised in San Antonio with it's heavy hispanic population. I know enough to get in real trouble real fast.

I have working knowledge in reading cyrillic.
It is really important for my education to have a compentent knowledge--es pecially in reading Russian. I am a Russian historian, working on my Masters and will need this in order to apply for a PhD.
