As far as Japanese goes, I'm afraid I don't know very much. I know some words from watching movies and anime but any more than that and I have no idea. I would like to learn this language because I'm very interested in the culture and one day I would like to visit Japan. The first step to my trip is to know the language however, so I can easily get around. I need to improve in almost every aspect, I'm a beginner to the tee. I want someone who will not get easily frustrated if I don't get it the first, third, or even hundredth time.

Hi,
I have been learning spanish for 2 years now, however I still feel as though I am a beginner. My teacher says my weakiest point is comprehension . I need a lot of help in conversation and comprehension .
I have always wanted to learn spanish because I always loved the lanuguage even though it wasn't my native language. I want to learn spanish because I plan to visit Puerto Rico soon and I would like to be able to speak also it would be good for any future career I have in mind.
I would like to dedicate as much time as I can to my language classes. I am fully dedicated to spanish and will stick to learning it nomatter how hard it gets.
Some qualities I am looking for in my spanish teacher is the fact that he/she is funny, makes learning spanish fun but at the same time is determined to help me learn. He/she might also want travel to spanish places or restaurants. I really want someone that's not a quitter and would be as dedicated to teaching me spanish as I am learning it.

I am at the beginning level in Mandarin Chinese. I completed a Conversationa l Chinese class at the Community College and wish to gain further skills in speaking and writing Chinese. I would like to learn Chinese because I hope to travel in China. I also have a good friend and teacher who is currently teaching me Tai Chi Chuan. I would like to attend a semi-private class or have a private lesson 1 hr per week. I am looking for a patient teacher who has experience working with English speakers and is familiar with Hanyu Pinyin.
