I am traveling to Beijing and to Shanghai at the end of this month (August 31st) and I'd like to learn basic greetings, phrases and directions for that trip.
However, upon my return in mid-September I'd like to resume my studies in order to learn the language for future opportunities in China and possibly to move there for work in a year or so.

I am a beginning learner of Japanese and an advanced learner of Spanish. I am also interested in learning French. I would like to learn for the sake of learning. I am still a student and I study Spanish and Anthropology. As a beginner I need improvement in every aspect possible. Im not sure how much time I would like to dedicate yet as I do not know how much time I need to dedicate to my University classes. However I would like to say 1-2 hours two or three times a week. I am looking for quality lessons from a spirited teacher who enjoys what he/she is doing. From my lessons, I would truly like to learn something valuable about the language and the culture.
