I am interested in learning the Lebanese dialect of Arabic. I am a beginner and am trying to teach myself how to speak the language through books, flash cards, and the computer. I am frustrated with the tools I am using and feel that an in-person teacher would be much more beneficial. I want to learn Arabic because my husband is Lebanese and it is very difficult to speak with his family. I feel very excluded in family gatherings due to the language barrier. My husband's mother is staying with us for several months as well, and it is very hard to communicate while we are alone together. I can dedicate 1-2 sessions a week (or more depending on traveling distance). I am looking for a teacher who can teach me the spoken Lebanese dialect of Arabic with a structured lesson plan in a professional environment.

Over the past two years, I have taken accelerated beginners French, intermediate and advanced level classes at the University of Pennsylvania. I spent six weeks last summer living with a family in Tours, France taking classes and traveling. I hope to spend Spring 2006 studying in Paris. Before I do that, however, my grammar and oral skills need to improve. Its only been a month since my last French class but I already feel like I'm losing it...My goal for this summer is to practice, practice, practice so I can speak fluidly and fluently next year.
I would like to practice possibly twice a week.

I am a beginner to the Polish language. I only know a few words and expressions, however, many of my new family members speak only Polish and I would like to communicate with them. I also plan on spending some significant time in Poland throughout my life because of my familial connections.

I've been studying Spanish for the past six months using various books and 'learn in your car' CD programs, and have acquired a basic vocabulary and some familiarity with grammar and verb tenses.
Much of my vacation travel is to Latin America, and I would like to be able to communicate more easily with the locals on my trips.
My pronunciation and grammar are reasonably good - I find my biggest issue is understanding Spanish when spoken at the normally fast pace used by native Spanish speakers.
I would like to schedule at least four hours of instruction per week. I am looking for a teacher who has a thorough understanding of the language, and is patient with their students.
