I wish to learn Japanese. I'm a high school student who has recently started summer vacation. I take latin in school but it is only as a requirement and not a passion. I have no proficiency in Japanese, and I only know a few words.
I want to learn it though because ever since I was a child I had a fascination with japanese culture, history, and the country itself. My dream is to one day study abroad in Japan. I' am interested in everything japanese. I frequently study japanese history and culture on my own time, and particpate in martial arts.
I've tried taking online free language courses, but the courses always seem so general and are of little help. I wish to find a way to learn how to read, write, and speak japanese. I'm willing to do the work to learn it because I'm very passionate about it, and feel that if I have someone to help me learn it I can learn quickly.
I'm looking for someone who can help me extensively not only in just learning the language but in conversationa l skills in japanese as well. Thank you for your time.

I have no proficiency in Thai. I am going to Thailand next spring to study at a Christian university in Chiang Mai and would like to get a head start on the basics, so that I will have a better experience. I am home this summer in thePhiladelph ia area and would like to spend 2 or 3 times a week learning Thai. Just to understand the alphabet and speak pleasantly on a basic level is what I would hope for.
