I lived in Korea for 3 years while teaching English. I have a very basic concept of proper grammar and a slightly more developed vocabulary. I am a low-intermedi ate student of the language. I can read fairly well and I have been told my pronuciation is quite good. I need help in grammar mostly. I am learning Korean because my wife and in-laws are Korean. I would like to find a teacher who is free for lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and who would be willing to barter services if possible. I am a computer technician and an artist (and former English Conversation teacher). I would like an all Korean session at each lesson except at times of correction and detailed explanation if Korean will not suffice. I want a teacher who immediately points out what I'm doing wrong by interrupting me briefly and doing it correctly and I prefer lots of repetition in terms of usage of words and phrases in a variety of situations. I will dedicate at least two or three hours a day on T,W and Th and possibly add more days depending on the proximity of the teacher, the price and their flexibility. I am willing to travel to the lessons.

I have recently studied abroad in Morocco for 1 academic year. While I was highly immersed in the culture and learned some basic dialect, I did not take any language courses. I would like to learn Darijah in order to fulfill a language requirement for the Fulbright Scholarship. This requires an Intermediate level proficiency of standard or dialect Arabic. I'd rather learn Moroccan dialect because of its usefulness.
I would like to take enough classes to provide an intermediate understanding of the language. This entails an understanding that will allow me to engage in an intermediate level of conversation, and ask basic questions and understand basic answers for data collection for a research project.
