Currently somewhat conversant in sign language; looking to become fluent for personal reasons (deaf relative) and career.
My situation may be unique:
I work for an airline and travel very much. I'm able to take lessons once or twice a week. Currently looking for an organization or teacher that is flexible and open to teach an eager student who's schedule is unpredictable .
I'm excited and anxious to learn - I'm not able to keep up w/my deaf nephew anymore! (He's so much more advanced than I am now.)
I moved to Arizona from Chicago very recently. Please respond, even if you are only able to give me information regarding ASL education in the Phoenix area.

To whom it may concern,
I have always had a love for the Latin culture. I have wanted to learn spanish as long as I can remember. I've picked up alot of vocabulary over the years but I want to know it fluently. Me and my fiance have been together for 6 years now. He is from Mexico and is actually living there now teaching English. We want to have a family soon so I need to stop pracrastinati ng and learn spanish. We want our kids to now spanish. Plus I go see him in Mexico and would love to be able to talk to family and friends better. I work alot but will work something out to go to school. Japanese Teachers:
I currently work as a Japanese-Engl ish translator/in terpreter here in the Bay Area, and am looking for an experienced Japanese language instructor to help me with improving my written Japanese language skills. If you can help me, please get in touch!! Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week with an experienced instructor to work on compositions, correct them, and learn new things.
Hi ndi Teachers:
I have had some experience studying Hindi as well, having journeyed throughout India three times---the last time I traveled there, I spent six months in an intensive Hindi language instruction programme, and managed to attain an elementary level of conversationa l Hindi. I can also read and write a little. I'd like to work with an experienced Hindi teacher to review what I've learned so far and maybe go a bit further. Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week.
Arab ic Teachers:
I've recently started teaching myself Arabic at home just for the fun of it---I've spent the last couple of years reading up on the Middle East, and while I have learned a lot this way, in my experience studying the politics, economics, or culture of any given country or society, one eventually needs to learn the language of the people one is studying if one ever hopes to learn anything. I'm fascinated with Arabic, and hope that I can find an experienced teacher to take me through the basics of reading, writing, and conversation. Ideally, I'd like to meet once a week.

I am a beginner. I am an author and college teacher. I have written and researched Bosnia, but would like very much to learn some of the language. I would need help with everything. But mostly I'm interested in conversationa l Bosnian. I would be able to do a two-week intensive (if I go to Chicago or MD) or could maybe do once a week for several months (if I went to MD). I would prefer immersion, though I realize this wouldn't probably be an option with an occasional class. I was a language teacher myself (ESL) and think it is the best option if possible.
