I have a basic understanding of german. Went up to German 3 in high school, then moved to North Carolina where it is not offere. I am interested in following up with the language study. I would like to learn Middle-Easter n Arabic for a multitude of reasons. For starters, I am Muslim and I hope to be able to read the Qur'an in it's origional language someday. Also, I am highly interested in culture, and next year I am visiting Lebanon and Dubai, by which time I want to know a portion of conversationa l Arabic. Also, I am going into the field of international public relations, and much of my work will be in the Middle Eastern region. Ii'm fluent in both English and Spanish, so I am somewhat adjusted to new grammar and foreign characters. I am hoping to have classes two or three days a week, each session about an hour and a half, but I'm flexible with scheduling. Though I am a beginner, I pick up quickly, and I have many Arabic friends with whom I would be able to practice.

I want to learn urdu. I am a begginer, and I am very interested in learning how to pronounce it rather than learn the writing of it, since that would be a lot harder. Depending on the price i would like to work on that at least 3 hours a week. i want a teacher that would be proffesional, patient and that has an outgoing personality. Someone who understand that learning a new lenguage is a challenge for most people and would not be frustrated easily.

My desire is to understand and be able to communicate with my 'real' native language. I also would like to visit all my relatives in Bulgaria and I would like to understand the language before I left.
I'd classify myself as a beginner but I can understand selective portions, phrases, and words since I grew up with my family speaking Bulgarian.
I would have to start from the ground up, but I understand how to pronounce most of the words.
I'm looking for someone who is professional, patient, and willing to take the time to help out when I struggle. The teacher would have to be located in Georgia - preferably around/near Atlanta. I would prefer someone who is well versed in Bulgarian and also someone who knows how to write in Bulgarian also.

I have taken several classes in Japanese, but I still feel like a beginner (especially when I was in Japan 5/04 and still couldn't speak with anyone.
