I am a PhD student who needs practise in conversationa l Filipino (Tagalog). I am only interested in classes that are almost 100% verbal - I can read in my own time. I would like to meet with a teacher twice a week to complement my individual study.
I already speak Spanish, so many words are already familiar to me. I would prefer a teacher who is familiar with Spanish too, so they understand which words I already will understand.
I am a dedicated studier - and I want my teacher to really push me for fast improvement by setting challenging homework I can complete by myself.

I am half Filipino half Australian, recently went to the Philippines on holidays and would like to learn the language so I can communicate with my family.
I only know a couple of tagalog terms so this would put me a beginners level.
The language is new to me therefore I would need to work on all areas of comprehension .
I work 30 hours a week and will be starting university next year, so I could dedicate few days a week. I am keen to learn the language as fast as possible.
I am just looking for a easy going friendly teacher with patience. As long as I learn how to speak tagalog efficiently by the end I will be happy.

I was Born in Cebu/Philippi nes and came to Australia when i was 4 yrs old so i ihave forgotten most of the language. I now have a young family of my own and i would like to learn tagalog so we can incorporate the culture and teach our children and go to the phillippines. I am able to go two days a week, my partner who is Australian would also like to learn
