I'm a beginner, who visits Luzon every year or two.
I'd like to be able to speak more Tagalog but have found teaching myself from a book difficult because I need to have conversations , not just learn words.
I'd like to spend about an hour a week initially, and see how it goes.

I would like to learn Tagalog as my mother is Filipina, and I would like to be able to converse with her and my family in the Philippines in confidence. I can understand some conversationa l Tagalog, but cannot really speak the language. I would be happy to have lessons a couple of times a week. I am looking for patience and experience in a teacher, and varied and tailored lessons.
