I am a PhD student based in London, and I will be conducting fieldwork and research in the Philippines in 2011-2012. I am looking for an opportunity to study Tagalog in the Philippines in August-Septem ber 2010 in order to establish a basic proficiency in the language. I am a total beginner, although I am currently studying independently in the UK, and I will be looking to focus in particular on conversationa l language. I will be in the Philippines for around 1 month after 19th August 2010, though I would be happy to begin lessons by email before this or continue them afterwards. While in the Philippines, I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to lessons, though this can obviously be negotiated. I am particularly interested in one-on-one or small group lessons.

Hi
i am trying to learn Tagalog, i have a Filipina girlfriend and am planning to move to the Philippines next year. I work abroad and am in the UK for just over 2 weeks and want to get as many lessons in as possible in those 2 weeks from 11th September - 26th September. I have been learning some but now need to link all the words i know together to form sentences.

Help!
I'm looking for an experienced Tagalog/Cebua no teacher in central London to help me get a grasp of the language (grammar and conversation) . I've attempted to study Tagalog before but my previous teacher was unable to explain the grammar properly, which is why I'd prefer to study with someone who has teaching experience.
