I want to learn Arabic in order to pass the NAATI examination to become an Arabic to English / English to Arabic translator and interpreter.
I'm married to an Egyptian man, and my proficiency with Arabic is basic at this time.
I want to have two one hour lessons per week in the late afternoons / early evenings. In Australia (my home country), i am a doctor of psychology but I'm working now in Cairo as a teacher at a private school.
I really need a teacher who will be patient but who will push me to do more. I want to excel in Arabic, to the point where native Arabic speakers will think that I speak like they do. My teacher must be firm and I'd really like it if i had homework because this helps me to consolidate my learning.
I want to take the NAATI examination within the next 8 months if possible.

I want to learn espanol as my wife is Mexican. We are also travelling to South America in 2011 and we will be living there for about 1-2years.
I am at a beginner level at the moment and I can committ about 15hours per week, beginning the 1st of september from cairo. We do not arrive in Egypt until then.
