I'm welling to learn the Russian language as I am planning to start a business with Russian partners and i think learning the language will very much help. I am still a beginner (i don't even know the alphapet), so I need to develop every thing (grammer, conversation. .. etc). I can dedicate 4-6 hours per week for language lessons. I have been living in Cairo for almost three years, studying Modern Standard Arabic as well as Egyptian Colloquial Arabic. I also study English once or twice a week with a British teacher. Although I think I am an advanced student, I need more improvement in all those three languages so that I can use them properly at work.

The main reason for wanting to learn Russian and Turkish is for the purpose of career advancement. I will start my PHD program in political science next year, and my area of focus is Eastern Europe/Caucas us. Many of the documents and articles written on that region are either in Turkish or Russian. Learn both languages would definitely help. I do not have a background in either language, and will need to start from scratch.

I want to learn because I live in Cairo. I would say my proficiency is beginners to intermediate. I particularly wish to learn to make conversation. I would be happy to dedicate about 8 to 12 hours per week. I am looking for a teacher who is knowledgable in teaching to students as a foreign language.
