I want to learn Icelandic because I think it is a beautiful language and I am planning on traveling to Iceland some day. I know no Icelandic at all, as I have had trouble with the pronunciation s through online courses. I am willing to dedicate a couple hours a week to this, provided I have the right teacher. I really want to focus on grammar, as well as speaking, as I would like to read The Sagas in Icelandic

I am an anthropologis t who will be conducting a research project in iceland in September and would like to start an intensive one to one language course. I am very much a beginner and need help in all areas, but particularly with speaking proficiency.
