Hi, I am interested in learning the language of Tagalog as, in my course of work I meet with many native Filipinos. I have only about 4-6 hours a week to spend in learning this language due to my heavy work commitment. I am looking for an outgoing, friendly tutor who is well versed in the language of Tagalog. At the moment,the extend of language proficiency I wish to attain is for conversationa l & a bit of reading.

I want to learn Tagalog because it interests me, and at the same time, my environment is surrounded with Filipinos. and i thought of continuing my studies in The Phillippines. I think my proficiency level is beginner even though i know how to speak a few sentences. However i don't know if the grammar used is correct or the sentence constructed is right. I think i'll have 2 hours per session, and 2 days per week. I am looking for a teacher who can really turn me into a Filipino by the way i converse be it writing or speaking, and would really educate me not based on money, but has the spirit of a teacher.

I have spent a few months in the Philippines for work, and have learnt a few words and phrases occasionally. Now I'm looking to advance my skills to a basic conversationa l level, as I will be back to the Philippines again soon.
I'm currently at a beginner's level with approximately 200 words and a dozen phrases. I would like to take up individual lessons on a regular basis (2 times a week) in order to become more at ease primarily with speaking the language in a private setting.
