I wish to learn Mandarin because my fiance's family is Chinese and I would like to converse with his parents in Chinese for better communication .
I have never learned speaking chinese before, but i know how to read few characters.
I would like to focus mainly on conversation.

For my son, who is six, we would like to see him achieve fluency by the time he graduates from highschool - this includes both reading and writing. Ideally, you'd come to our house twice a week. My wife is a native Czech speaker and I would like to learn the language that she grew up with. I have gone through Pimsleur's Conversationa l Czech series, but my proficiency would definitely be beginner and I would like to learn more of the grammar and conversationa l structures of Czech. I work full time, but I would like to dedicate the time I have available to learning this wonderful language. At least what I can comfortably afford spending. In a teacher, I look for someone with thorough knowledge of the language and culture that can create adaptive lessons to my learning style. I am very quick with language so it isn't something that should be too troublesome.
