I would like to continue learning Russian because I am interested in the language itself, Russian culture, and I may want to potentially work in Russia in the future. At the moment I am definitely a beginner. I did study abroad in St. Petersburg for three months which gave me a base to work with but I want to continue learning Russian now. Areas where I need particular improvement are definitely grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate 6 to 10 hours a week but that also depends on the cost of classes and I would prefer to have one on one classes but I am open for other options. What I look for in a teacher is someone who is patient, creative, and who has a good sense of humor.

I am a beginner and I would like to learn how to speak Hebrew because I will be traveling to Israel (possibly live there) with my fiance. Since this is my first time learning this language I am looking for all types of improvement being grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate my language lessons 1 hour and a half (1:30). Hello My family was all born in Portugal. I will be going overseas to play basketball in portugal. I dont know any portuguese at all. I want to learn to talk to people in portugal and to talk to my family in portuguese. I am a beginnner so I need help in every area. I would like lessons 2 to 3 times a week. I want a professor that is going to give me quality lessons. I want a professor who is on time and precise. I am second generation Russian Molocan, and although I have some comprehension of the Russian language I would only rate my proficiency at somewhere between the beginning and intermediate levels. It is very important that I am able to understand conversationa l Russian fluently, as the language is a big part of my heritage and is what is dominately spoken in our churches. I am looking for a resonably priced tutor of somewhat middle-agle for possibly private, in-person lessons, a few hours once a week. She must be able to provide her own transportatio n. A good knowelege of the old Russian Language is a plus.

Hello. I am a beginner in the Romanian language. My boyfriend is native Romanian and does not want to teach me the language, for what reason I can only guess :). I have doe alot of research and even made a friend via the internet who lives in Bucharest. He translates text for me and tells me a few phrases to say but I would like to learn the proper way to pronounce and speak the language. I am not expecting to become 100% fluent in the language but I am very interested in it. I might be taking a trip to Bucharest with my boyfriend and his family sometime next year so it will defintely be helpful then.
I am available in the evenings during the weekdays or on the weekends during the beginning of the day and I would like to dedicate at least 2-5 hours a week or i suppose. As far as what I am looking for in a teacher, I would pefer a warm genuinly nice person (most romanians in my experiance are like that anywyas)who can ultimatley help me learn the language.
