My teaching approach focuses on helping students use the language in real-life situations rather than only memorizing rules. I guide learners step by step, starting with simple words and sentence structures, then gradually building confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. For beginners, I use clear explanations, repetition, and Singlish (Sinhala written in English letters) to make learning easier. As students progress, I introduce Sinhala script, grammar, and more natural conversations .
I believe practice is the key to mastering a language. Therefore, my lessons include interactive activities such as speaking exercises, role plays, quizzes, and sentence-buil ding tasks. I also provide regular feedback and corrections to help students improve quickly. |
