Re: Dante
Robert,
yes, there are translations of Dante’s «La Divina Commedia» into modern Italian; for example, «La Divina Commedia in italiano d’oggi» by Nino Giordano and Fabrizio Maestrini, published by Libreria Editrice Fiorentina.

Dante
Esiste un'edizione di Dante scritta in italiano moderno? Vorrei provare a leggere ma la versione italiana originale sarebbe troppo difficile.
Grazie,
Robert

School-grade textbooks
School-grade textbooks are actually bad at being good examples. You just need the most basic ones that include the grammatical structure as reference then rely on written dialogues for example sentences. Try playing indie games for children if you can afford them. Otherwise, go for newspapers and magazines. Jokes are harder to understand unless you’re familiar with the vocabulary, though.

Japanese writer's name
I'm trying to remember the name of a Japanese author. I visited her home in Iwakuni more than 20 years ago. Her home was a museum because she had already passed away. I don't know the topic of her writings; but I believe she had some fame as a feminist icon for beginning a trend for older women to dye their hair bright colors. thank you

Re:So, what book you reading?
I am reading the book " the umbrella man" writting by Roald Dahl. It is a funny book and ironic about the human behavior. Sometime Roald Dahl descibes the british society with a acute view and a litlle bit philosophy. This book is wonderful.
