Well, I think the best thing is to watch german movies and read books to get used to the language.
I´m a german girl and maybe I can help you.

tips on learning German!!
Hallo :) For the past few months I've been learning German, and I find the sentence structure and grammar a bit hard. Any tips on how to practice and improve? And if anyone wants to help me with German, please help!!

most words or nearly every word that ends with an -e have the article die.
e.g.:
die Blume
die Katze
die Tasche
die Speise
die Treppe
die Hose
and all plural words have the article de. For der and das I would just try to memorize all of them - although it is going to be very hard.

I found it very helpful to think of the particles Die, Der, & Das as part of the words they describe. When making flashcards and such, always put the article + the word, that way you will memorize it as a whole.
