Re:Re:Hi from Japan
Hi J-neko, Sorry for my late reply. We were out of town to stay with my parents. We were happy to see them and enjoyed our trip. By the way, are you coming to Japan next year? Which part of Japan are you going to stay in? I'd be happy if I could help you. I don't know what a contact person should do, though. Could you tell me about a contact person? kazuyo

Re:English -Japanese
Hi! I'm planning to study in Japan, therefore I hope you can help me in Japanese. I can help in English, and in Chinese or Cantonese too if you want. May I know which part of Japan do you live?

Hi from Japan
Hi j-neko! Glad to hear from you. Yes, jaane is the same as matane. They both are used when you want to say good-bye or see you. Strictly speaking, jaane means good-bye, and matane means see you again, so you'll say jaane to someone who you won't see again. By the way how is the weather over there? Are you in a summer vacation? Kazuyo
