Re:Re:Re:Translation
Hi Corina!
I'm not croatian, but french, so I am not sure of me. If some croatian could confirm what I think it would be great...
You want to translate : bez tebe dobro sam.. dodji (pusii) ili odjebi
First part of the sentence means "without you I am well (or I feel good)"
I will not translate the second part as I think it is very vulgar, as far as I can judge.
I hope this message will not be too brutal to you.
Bye, Chrystel

Re:Re:Re:Need help with translation Croatian - English
First translation is ok, but I don't know what somebody ment with this sentence (because it's short text). So, that verb "puši" in Croatian has 2 meanings, one is already mentioned, and other is "smoke".

Re:Need help with translation Croatian - English
Hi.
Translation would be something like this: "If I'm sending this to you.. then you'll have to change yourself and our life will start again."
Hope that I helped you

Re:Basic Croatian
hi, translations into Croatian: 1. How are you? = Kako si? (2.person singular) = Kako ste? (2.person plural -formal form, 2. I'm fine = Ja sam dobro.
3. Thank you = Hvala
4. No, thank you = Ne, hvala.
The spelling is just the same as the pronunciation -that's the catch with croatian, (serbian as well), cause we read every letter that we write. ......with "thank you = hvala .......the sound "h" is the same as in "horse"
One thing though....croatian "r" sound is much stronger and difficult to pronounce...... ...........good luck.....kristina
