The convergence of Music
I am a Namibian girl looking for a German exchange partner. What is interesting about music especially here in Southern Africa is that we listen to our own version of different types of Music such as beats taken from International house and Africanised to our own Afrohouse. Music between countries with the same colonial roots have similar musical styles, but we all converge at American music. How is music in different parts of the world

German music..
Hey everyone!
I'm a huge fan of the German band Tokio Hotel.
Since I've started listening to their songs, I decided to learn the language.
Moreover, I started listening to other German musicians such as : Apollo 3, Panik, kool Savas, and Samy Deluxe.
I'm looking for someone who could teach me German, and in return I can help you improve your English, and teach you Arabic if you're interested ;)

They're the best, I like to listen to German music, that's why I'm here, so that I learn the language..
Anyways, there's a small band called "Apollo 3" Apollo drei.
the band consists of 3 boys. I know this might sound ridiculous but they are at the age of 14, but their music is pretty cool ;)
There's a new band which is called "the black pony", they're similar to Big Time Rush, from Disney channel..
There is abother band called Killerpilze.

Try out rammstein - a lot of americans already know them. in fact, go anywhere and mention that you are german and surely someone will mention this band. my favorite song of rammstein: -spieluhr, -sonne. but if you like more -normal- lyrics:
rock: die toten hosen, madsen -du schreibst geschichte,
dance: culcha candela -hamma -monsta ,
rap: sido -mein block -herz, kool savas,
