ARMENIA & ARMENIAN PEOPLE
Hello everyone. As I could already notice many people visit here searching information about new countries, cultures, traditions, or just merely for finding new friends worldwide. That’s actually awesome, and I am one of them, but…….
Among the messages I read here I seldom find people who would have interest in visiting my country which is ARMENIA or learning my language (ARMENIAN). Well the latter is not even recommended unless you really like it (which you should;). Anyways, the reason I wanted to write this message is because I feel there no/little information out there about Armenia. I don’t encourage you to visit Armenia right away, but you can do some research to see whether or not it’s worth visiting.
Some facts: Armenia is located in the Asian continent (disputed as some others believe it’s in the European Continent), spoken language is Armenian; bordering countries – Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran; capital city – Yerevan; population – around 3 million; and most importantly our religion is Christianity. FYI, not only Armenia is a Christian country, but also the 1st in the world to recognize Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD.
