Are you interested in practicing English, and learning Slang?
Hi everyone, I have taught English in the past and I am willing to teach and practice with anyone that wants to. I would love to exchange with German speaker since I am trying to learn German. If you are in the DC area, and want to practice English I really don't care where you are from, or what you speak, I am willing to help. I have taken people to see the local Soccer Team DC United to practice regular slang, a walk around the national mall, or to dinner. What ever "Floats your boat," so I hope you "Catch my drift," I enjoy meeting new people and hope I can help you improve your English. Look forward to hearing from you.

German words for logging and forestry.
Hi everyone,
I've recently been looking at German webpages on forestry and logging. I have an interest in that topic and Germany has the most non-English pages I found. I've found the German words for logger/lumberjack are Holzfäller, holzhacker, and forstwirt. Can you explain the difference between the words? And to make them feminine, as in a woman who works in that field, I ad an 'in' on the end, right?
And for chainsaw, I guess the proper German word is motorsägen, while Kettensäge is a transliteration, right? If I wanted to find "his chainsaw" or "her chainsaw" what would I add in front of the word?
Thanks, Joel
