Writer seeks cultural exchange
I’m a writer and journalist from Edinburgh. I’m planning to travel to the Far East next year to research a book project. I am 50 some years old Japanese male but am not that "worn‐out" old man.
About 25 years ago, I was in the U.S. for 5 years.
I am interested in human beings as I studied psychology, philosophy and anthropology for some extent, but not so deep.
I sometimes listen to music, read books and think about things....

Do you need opportunities to use Japanese language?
I organize the following Japanese classes online with the app "Discord" as volunteering.
They are all free of charge.
**Hiragana Katakana Class** Under arrangement
**Beginner Class** 22:00 on Saturdays (JST), 9AM on Sundays (JST)
**Intermediate Communication Class** 22:00 on Saturdays (JST)
**Advanced Class** Under arrangement

On my server on Discord, there are many people who enjoy talking in Japanese language.
We enjoy playing online games, watching Japanese dramas with the shared screen, practicing speaking Japanese with some activities like role-plays.
I think we can learn languages by ourselves even in our own countries.
It could be possible to improve the language skills if we keep on studying and try to make lots of opportunities to use the language as much as possible.
So I share it to everybody who wants to learn Japanese language on Discord.
