Ramadan and Eid - gift ideas/traditions
Hello,

I was wondering if someone could assist me with some of the traditions of Ramadan and Eid. I am an American female (non-Muslim)dating a man originally from Yemen, he has lived in the US for over 25 years and is an American citizen. In general is he not very religious but he does follow the fasting for Ramadan. What is an appropriate gift I can give him for the end of Ramadan or Eid?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Gypsy

I can't talk to my husbands family and only understand a little lebanese!
Kifak enta? I'm from Washington state. but was born in california. Northern california is alot like oregon. Lots of trees and some rain. my husband is lebanese from lebanon but, not teaching me much. talking to his mom would be nice. a starter conversation with her would be? learning from someone that is from lebanon would be great.

I'm from Lebanon
Hello sir,
This is Oussama from the country of Lebanon, but I live in Portland Oregon right now. I have been in the States for three years studying computer engineering at Portland State University. I would love to visit California one day.
I would be more than happy to help you get a better understanding of the arabic culture and traditions.

Sincerely yours,
