Malay dishes
Hello...... There,
Want to know about Malay dishes or "Masakan Melayu".
Menu- "Sambal Belacan" or "shrimp paste".
1. Pound 4 to 5 red chillis; 2. Add in dried shrimp; 3. Add in a red tomato-slices(throw the seeds) and pound; 4. Squeeze one lime juice.
Remember you have to pound all this ingredient together ( 1 to 3). This is an appetizer. Good to eat with rice.
New malay words....Malay or Melayu
1.dish-masakan 2.shrimp-udang 3.dried shrimp- udang kering 4.pound-tumbuk 5.red -merah 6.chilli -lada 7.red chilli-lada merah 8.lime-limau
