There are more than one way to say "I love you" in Afrikaans.
There's " Ek het jou lief " (said ek het yo leaf)
You can also say " Ek is lief vir jou" or just "lief vir jou" which is literally "I have love for you" (said ek us leaf fur yo")
Like, for example, if you were saying good night to your mom, you would say
"Goeie nag, Ma. Ek is lief vir jou, lekker slaap." (Good night mom, i love you, sleep well) but if you were talkjng tk your mom you would probably just say "lief vir jou" because it is more imformal

Koos he is 22 but I'm sure you were alot like him. I now have spelled his name Koors. In America and I'm sure most of the world would pronouce it Coos, which every one I'v shown it to does. This is what I need? I uae a lot of Afrikaans words that I got from the English/Afrikaans translation on the Internet. I wonder if you could help me, if I send it to you for corrections.
