Looking for friends to travel with through South Korea
Hello! ^^
I am a 36 year old American female and I plan to travel to South Korea for cherry blossom season in April 2014.
I am interested in visiting historic and culturally significant sites. I also want to visit islands and other natural beauty sites.
And of course I'd like to spend some time playing in Seoul.
I am looking for other females who would like to spend 2 weeks traveling around South Korea and doing these things.
I am posting this topic because none of my friends here at home are interested in traveling to Korea with me and I don't want to go by myself. I don't feel quite safe being a female traveling alone in foreign countries for the first time.
If there are any other girls from anywhere in the world who have always wanted to visit South Korea but didn't want to travel alone and couldn't find any friends from home to travel with, send me an email on this site.
I speak a little Korean, French, Spanish and German, but I am only proficient in English. However, I am learning Korean right now and I hope to speak Korean pretty well by the time I travel to Korea next year.

Hi Hyerim,
Hong Kong is one of my favourite places, its wonderful even when im there for work, just to shop or for lone journey. Because its such a transport friendly place, you can go there on your own. If you're adventurous enough and lucky, you might just find company there.
Do visit the HK travel website and you can see all the activiites that you can do there. With so many things to do, you can plan your itinerary for optimum pleasure.
Hope you have a fantastic trip there.

Plans to visit Korea
Hi,
I'm planning to visit Korea this year. I thought it will help 'smoothen' my trip if I were to learn some basic Korean before the trip.
