I read a lot actually...
I'm currently reading Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. As well as, The Quintessence of popular music, The Reader, etc. I'm wanting to learn Italian, it's so beautiful and the culture fascinates me. I'm willing to teach someone English in exchange. I don't know much Italian, but hopefully I'll get there.

Re:Re:So, what book you reading?
I'm currently reading "It" by Stephen King.

As far as I'm concerned, King is one of the best horror / suspense writers, and I really enjoy his books. If you like this kind of books, you could give it a try!
Another writer I've discovered recently, close to King's style, is Dean Koontz. The couple of books I've read so far are very good.

I am reading...
The house of Sleep, by Coe (in english, of course ;-))
I really like it, very well written and also the plot is nice: it's about a girl who suffer from narcolepsy and sometimes she can't distinguish between drems and reality...
Smart and funny!

Hello everyone!
I'm italian and reading Forugh Farrokhzad's poems in italian translation.

Is there any Farsi speaker who could help me with the original version? I speak no Farsi at all (yet).

Thank you!

Re:Reading Material for German Beginners
If seeing a reply has gotten your hopes up, I'm sorry; I don't have an answer, I'm after the answer myself, and am hoping that by replying I'll get updates to this thread... (does that happen?)

I've been snooping around for the same thing... so far I've found fairy-tales by the Brothers Grimm are fairly short and simple, but I'm not entirely sure if they're written in a common/modern style <.< have you found anything?

who wrote this poem?
Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita
mi ritrovai in una selva oscura
ché la dritta via era smarrita.

Are you able to guess who wrote this poem?
Savez vous deviner qui a écrit ce poème-ci?
