Apa khabar? It's mean how are in English. Actually Malay language is quite easy to learn. It's fun. Everyone can learn it. Malay language is a beautiful language. In Malaysia itself, there are more than 10 slang of Malay languages.Each state has their own slang and Malaysia have 13 states in it.So, if you are about to learn Malay language, then you will find it interesting because you can learn to speak Malay in many slang. I would like to learn!! I know spanish and english so if you would like help in one of those languages I could help. I don't have any experience with Malay but I'm a good learner.

Hi, Malaysian language and Indonesian language is quite similar but there are a different too. I can help you but with the Malaysian style. For the beginning, I will teach you the basic words.
I - Saya (pronounce as sa-ya) You - Awak (a-wac), Kamu (car-moo) She/He - Dia (d-ya) Them - Mereka (mer-ray-car) We - Kami (car-mee) Us - Kita (key-ta) How are you - Apa khabar? (are-pa car-bar) Fine, thank you - Baik, terima kasih (bar-ek tree-ma car-say)

Bandung is a city in Indonesia. If you're thinking of conversing with your friend in her mother tongue, you should look up the language Indonesian. But Malay and Indonesian are quite similar. ;)
