Sesame Street?
In America growing up , there was an educational television program called 'Sesame Street', which taught me basic language skills and other things in English. Are there television shows or movies or cartoons that are Russian that teach using the same method?

Almost all Russia's TV is false propaganda now only for "brain washing". It's very similar with Syria's TV before war.

So there isn't good education on any TV channel from Russia because it's all occupied by mafia. Same situation on radio and in internet even now there.

For example, you can find many simple cook forums with wide selections of receipts for various meals and with taste photos of it in russian internet. But new moderators erase all private messages about hunger or about impossibility to buy due food ingridients for that rich dishes in Russia...
