my name is thomas from germany(leipzig) and i'd like to learn persian (farsi) and improve my english.
First question: is it right when you say persian = farsi, or is farsi only a dialect of persian. (we german are really political [over]correct.
Second question: are you interested to learn german with me?

Persian is an Iranian tongue belonging to the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European family of languages.
It is widely spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and to some extent in Iraq, Bahrain, and Oman.
New Persian, usually is called also by the names of Farsi, Parsi, Dari or Parsi-ye-Dari (Dari Persian).
