Okay, so can anyone tell me what this proverb means? I just finished playing hangman and I don't understand, and it's "getting on my nerves"
"di mezzo il mare" what does it mean? help!!!

Hi. I think you refer to italian proverb "tra il dire e il fare c'¨¨ di mezzo il mare". It means: "it's easier said than done". I try to translate it literally: "between talking and doing there is the see". "di mezzo il mare" means: "there is the see between....."

"i dont understand" means you are not comprehending something, or are confused about something.
"getting on my nerves" means someone or something is causing grief or aggravation or stress to them.
