Spanish movies for a language lesson and entertainment
I recently started to study Spanish, and have been renting movies. I got KM-0 and Sex and Lucia. Both fabulous movies as well as tutorials in a way. Anyone have any other recommendations

Re:Spanish movies for a language lesson and entertainment
Hi Lindsay,

I watched "Todo sobre mi madre" recently. Initially I tried without the subtitles, but it didn't take long for me to have to put them back on again. Very unusual and interesting movie.

I also have Live Flesh and Talk To Her, which I have yet to watch.

When I find the Spanish language to difficult to understand vocally, I try English language DVDs showing Spanish subtitles. I love watching ER, and my medical vocabulary is coming along very nicely!

Good luck,

Jamie

Hi jamie

The vocabulary used for this film is similary to slang in english .It is the typical languages in the Almodovar movies . It is usually a little rude.
there are good spanish movies !!!!

don't stop to see our cinema !!!!!

Hola David,

Hi Mark

I don't mean that the movies with rude language to be better or worse . My answer was to Jaimie question about the vocabulary used in the Almodovar movies , difficult to understand for jamie . Personally , the Almodóvar cinema is not my favorite ones , however , I find that the Juanma Bajo Ulloa movies more interesting that the Almodóvar and he also uses a language of the street ( rude ).

Ah, Por supuesto.
