Jestem nie bardzo dobrze with the polish language. I have a small polish dictionary, so I just take words I am looking for and put them together as you would in english and I am not sure if that is right. I wish I could hear polish people talking so I could understand but most of my polska rodzina are no longer around anymore. I would like to learn some polish words and phrases that I could use in everyday life. I know some but like todays people I want to know more!!!! I would also like to learn some polish customs, food(recipies if you know them) and about the culture. I will help you anyway I can...

The only problem I see is that I am not a gold member either, so I guess this is the only way I can contact you. I also am no housewife but somebody has to do the cooking at my house. I guess you could say I learned my domestic skills from my dad. He had to take care of four children(myself included). He is my best friend and my hero...

I've got to say that I'm stunned. Most of my domestic skills were also learned while watching my father taking care of me and my two sisters... And now I'm also the only one to cook in my house.
Big similarity despite the distance between us...

The reason I am looking for authentic polish meals is to remind me of my grandma. If only I wanted to learn polish when I was younger...

We shouldn't blame ourselves for the past. Yesterday we were different people than now, so we thought in a different way then - we were different people, so there's no use in carrying the burden of others.

Yes my grandma was polish. Her parents came from Poland, not sure what geographic region.
