Hello folks! My name is Marianne. I was born and live in Northern Germany, Niedersachsen.
Learning languages is a hobby of mine. Next to reading, sewing and doing sports. I am a cosplayer, mainly I do historical costumes. I also love to travel.
In school I took English, Latin and Spanish classes. But as soon as I finished school 5 years ago I rapidly forgot most of what I learned in Spanish classes. As I’m an avid Fanfiction reader I continued using the english language. Therefore I understand most English texts. Speaking and also writing in english is much harder for me, as the words don’t come to me that fast. That’s a reason I’m looking for an english-speaking Penpal.
As stated on my profile I would love to brush up my Spanish,
writing to a native speaker. My spanish is definitely not as fluent as my english, as I have still so much to relearn. But I would love to weite to someone who would be willing to but up with beginners to intermediate Spanish.
I would also love to write to a Japanese Penpal, as I’ve started learning Japanese in Spring 2021, when I had much freetime because of Covid 19 lockdowns… I fell in love with the language and am hoping to learn conversing in Japanese through this website. If there’s anybody who is willing to put up with my beginner level Japanese, I would love to talk to you!
