"Somebody you teach" to me would imply a student, where 'Lehrer' means 'teacher.' I would rephrase the question to indicate "somebody who teaches."

A 'Lehre' is not somebody you teach, but somebody who teaches. Someone you teach would be something along the lines of a 'Student' oder 'Schüler'. Just wanted to point that out.

why do you say 'somebody you teach' when a teacher teaches you and not the other way round? otherwise it was good.
