Job Description: Are you passionate about practicing and enhancing your language skills? Do you enjoy meeting people from different cultures and providing exceptional customer service? Do you have a passion for volunteering and helping others? Join the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) Volunteer Program. As a Customer Care Ambassador, you’ll have the chance to engage with international travelers, assist them with navigating the airport, and provide helpful information-all while practicing your language skills! This role is ideal for volunteers who are fluent or conversational in languages other than English and want to use their abilities to assist our diverse group of travelers. Key Responsibilities: -Greet and assist travelers in their preferred language, providing directions and answering questions. -Support airport information desks by offering translation services when needed. -Provide basic information about Pittsburgh, ground transportation, and other travel-related queries. - Promote a positive, helpful, and friendly atmosphere at PIT. Requirements: -Must be passionate about customer service and helping others. - Must be available to commit an average of 12 hours per month. -Airport security background check required. -Must live in the Pittsburgh area.
